All my care sheets are written following my experiences keeping these exotic and domestic species. They are based off information and techniques found to work by myself and other keepers, ensuring your animals welfare needs are not only met, but exceeded. Here at Ali's Menagerie, I'm also a big believer in evidence-based husbandry. What's that? Well it is a way of ensuring that our animals have only the very best, using research from the wild and captivity to explore what works best to provide the most naturalistic and stimulating lives for all species in human care.

Next to each care sheet image you'll see a little coloured circle- this is to help you find the right pet, ensuring that your experience level matches that of the species. Green species are ideal for all experience levels, whilst orange indicates that prior experience with exotics may be helpful. Red species are perfect for experienced hobbyists looking for more of a challenge!

Do not refer to these care sheets in medical related circumstances. In any medical instance, do not hesitate to contact your exotic specialist vet, no matter how severe you believe the issue to be.
